Elena RuÃz y Flores is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Global Studies at Michigan State University. Her work addresses structural violence against women of color and theories of harm (cultural, epistemic, linguistic) in the context of colonialism. Her work has appeared in journals like Hypatia, Feminist Philosophy Quarterly, and in several edited collections.
