
Francisco Fernflores is professor of philosophy at California Polytechnic State University, where he has been teaching philosophy of science, logic, and philosophical classics since 2000. His research has previously focused on the philosophy of physics. He is author of the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy article on the equivalence of mass and energy and Einstein’s Mass-Energy Equation. Recently, he has begun teaching and conducting research in Latin American, Latinx, and Chicanx philosophies. His current research focuses on the conceptual influence of Mexican thinkers from the second half of the twentieth century on the works of Gloria Anzaldúa.
