
Cristian Felipe Soler Reyes received a Ph.D. in Latin American and Iberian Studies from Stanford University in 2023. His research looks at different Latin American art forms (painting, sculpture, cinema, literature, etc.) from the last 30 years with a transnational, cross-cultural, and transdisciplinary lens.
Cristian also created and chairs the research group “Comics: More than Words,” which has become a hub for interdisciplinary thought and for diversity. Students from different backgrounds come together in this space to learn from each other and to share their different perspectives. Articles published in this journal include:
