Nate Whelan-Jackson

Nate Whelan-Jackson is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Capital University, as well as the Director of the Signature Learning Program (General Education). His research areas include philosophy of disability, American philosophy, and ethics. His work has appeared in The Journal of Philosophy of Disability, Transactions of the Charles S. Peirce Society, European Journal of Pragmatism and American Philosophy and The Pluralist. Also, he co-edited a volume with Daniel J. Brunson, Disability and American Philosophies, published by Routledge in 2022. His ongoing research articulates obstacles disabled people face regarding political inclusion, with the hope that by making the logics that marginalize or isolate disabled persons apparent, we are in a better position to contest them.

Prof. Whelan-Jackson has one published article in Volume 15, Issue 1 of the Journal.
